Be Kind To Your Fellow Anime Fans At the Conventions!
Have you ever been to a anime convention and overheard a fellow anime fan or fellow cosplayer just dissing another cosplayer or anime fan? This doesn’t really stop at anime conventions either, it can go for any other convention where fans and cosplayers alike come to gather and have a fun time.
For the sake of this post though I will refer to the anime conventions. It really doesnt matter where it is being held but you almost always see anime fans getting along with each other, some cosplay, some dont, its usually all good. Then you have this one or a small group of people who find it their duty to put down someone who is cosplaying.
Some are cosplayers themselves, some come up in there and are not dressed up at all and yet they are completely downtalking someone elses cosplay outfit. What is up with that? Do they not realize how rude and completely mean spirited that is? If you have something to say that is completely mean in what your saying then keep it to yourself! I dont care if it IS your opinion, the last place you go and do that is in a spot where the said cosplayer or said anime fan can actually hear you!
If you are reading this and you are infact one for these types of people, instead of getting offended, stop pause a minute and think of how you would feel if you were standing in a line and heard someone talking down to you. I just hope that you reconsider the next time you go to say a mean comment.
For those of you who dont do this that I am fussing about good for you! You guys completely rock!
